From 2014 to 2017 I spent many months traveling across Nigeria, visiting universities. From Lagos, to Abudja, Calabar, Uyo, Port Hartcourt.
It was a unique experience I could do thanks to fashion designers Caterina Bortolussi and Francesca Rosset.
Their fashion brand, Kinabuti now operates throughout Africa following a model of sustainable fashion. They focus not only on producing fashion, but on empowering youths, through a series of activities that they organize in universities.
Together we did so many things. For four years we produced a Tv show, Dare2Dream, that has been aired in Nigeria, Angola, SouthAfrica and more. Stories about Kinabuti have been published everywhere, in Africa and Europe.

I feel very lucky to have been part of this project. I have to admit Caterina, Francesca and all their teachers and mentors ended up empowering me too.
